Openwork Hires Two Wealth Development Managers

Openwork has appointed Sarah Alder and Paul Booler as wealth development managers as part of its shift away from generalist support teams towards specialist teams. Alder, previously client relationship director at The Wisdom Council, and Booler, previously regional sales manager at Coram Asset Management, will work with Openwork’s product proposition director, Graham Angell, to support the group’s wealth proposition. This includes its platform, its fund proposition Omnis, and wider customer services. As of September, the Woodford-managed Omnis fund had attracted £100 million in assets, less than six months on from its launch. Openwork plans to hire further specialist wealth development managers for Scotland, Northern Ireland and the South East. It will also look to recruit channel managers for its mortgage and protection team. “We are keen to develop our support to Openwork advisors though specialists in the wealth field and the experience they both bring will be a vital part of us achieving that. We now are looking to recruit other high calibre individuals for similar roles around the UK and we look forward to completing the new team,” said Openwork’s wealth director, Mike Morrow.
